Post 2

Here's my second post. Had a good sleep-in today until about noon. I'm currently still recovering from shoulder decompression and rotator cuff repar surgery and sleep has been hard. That said, being able to actually sleep in is a bit of an accomplishment. I only recently have gotten to the point I can sleep in 2 positions now opposed to only on my back.

I'm guessing the rain also helped with the sleeping in. No real plans for the day other than getting this blog post done and taking a quiz for my online history class. I'm greatful to get to stay home under the blankets and enjoy the sound of the rain.

Hello to whoever all in CIS-68 is looking at this. I fortunately got a life today and actually did something, so I actually have something to post about. Yay. Spent the morning in Sunland at a construction meeting for the re-enactment group I'm part of (the renaissance faire is coming up in April/May but participants start in March) and got out of the meeting surprisingly early.
After that my husband and myself spent some time in Pasadena and then in LA with two friends from the same re-enactment group who took us to a really good little Chinese food place right outside of China Town. Then we walked over to Olvera Street and spent a good while wandering through all of the little shops and booths before driving back to their place in Pasadena, and finally home. Hope everyone else had a good Saturday too.
